This unique artwork features a collection of dolphins and porpoises that frequent the shores of British Columbia: orca (top), harbour porpoise (left), pacific white-sided dolphin and Dall's porpoise (right). These species were drawn with in a traditional method using ink and a dip pen. The drawings have been mounted in a museum-inspired shadowbox, similar to butterfly specimen boxes. The drawings are proportionally to each other, showing the range of size difference between species.
Size: 6.25" x 6.25" (outside size of frame)
Framing notes: Professionally framed in wooden frame with a textured, metallic, copper finish. Framed with high-end, UV-filtering/anti-glare glass (Museum), which has been raised to create a shadow box so it does not touch the artwork. The drawings are mounted to an archival, copper-coloured silk matboard. Wired on the back and ready to hang.
