All Aglow (oil on drafting film)

This original oil painting was created on a piece of translucent drafting film. This delicate painting is part of an artistic exploration considering how to paint whales' breath (a humpback whale, in this case). Due to the smoothness of the surface, the oil paint has been rubbed away to achieve an ethereal quality to the blow—which looks like it is illuminated by the evening sun. There is a signed and titled card attached to the back of the frame 

Size: 6.75" x 5" (outside size of frame) 
Framing notes: Professionally framed in an angled, green-stained wood with a silver line along the apex. The oil painting is lifted and mounted on an archival mat. Framed with high-end, UV-filtering/anti-glare plexiglass (Optium), which has been raised to create a shadow box so it does not touch the painting. Wired on the back and ready to hang.
