11"x14" Fluid Humpback

Compass North features a humpback whale and explores ideas of buoyancy and of whales' unique relationship with gravity. This original drawing was created with ink and water from the Salish Sea. Interactions between the ink and seawater created natural currents, eddies and tidal pools on this artwork.
